cooking with my bugs

Katie recently took a cooking class at the Y,

ever since she has begged me to buy the ingredients she needed to make the appetizer.

String Cheese

Zucchini

Bread Crumbs

Eggs

Got her all set up and she proceeded to 'teach' her little sister.

It was nice to just sit back and watch + listen to them.

I only had to intervene once...

STOP!!

"Sweetie you can't lick your hands!  Its raw egg!"

I like it when I can let go and let them have fun; 

it's something I'm working on and I have to say I did a pretty good job.

I didn't worry about the mess or how long it was taking;

I just enjoyed the moment!
