family vaca, day 1

hwy 101 down the coast

next summer we plan on just coming here...

so beautiful and so much to do

we took a break from the car and played on the beach

my child who refuses to learn to swim!

my child who was upset about our vacation cause she had to take a break from swimming!

that was as close as she got to the water, as soon as it started coming in she would run.

not sure what was up with this pelican but it was letting people get right up next to it.

thought maybe it had a broken wing or something, but then it flew so...?

we were going to stop at the Tillamook cheese factory but it was packed!

not much else to do but look at the views...

stopped in Newport for the night,

it was so foggy we couldn't see ten feet in front of us.

dinner, swimming and sleep.
