30 day shred

okay, it's official...

i am done carrying around these extra pounds,

i'm totally committed to making the change.

now what??

i already eat better and workout more than everyone i know...

so why is it they just wont drop?

i'm sure it has quite a lot to do with my splurging on the weekends,

every weekend.

we bbq,

i drink,

i surf pinterest and find some yummy recipe that i just have to try!

honestly though,

i do really well during the week.

enough is enough!

2 days ago i made this commitment to myself,

now i am sharing it in the hopes  that

thinking you might give a damn will motivate me.

1)  i will workout everyday, no matter what

2)  i will eat the same thing at the same time every day

3)  my food will be whole and as fresh as i can get

5)  i will relax and get plenty of rest

6)  i will take the time to enjoy life

                       in detail:

i found a program by Jillian Michael's called the 30 day shred,

it's tuff and i feel good after i do it but it's only like 25 minutes long.

so every morning i will wake up at 4 am,

take half an hour to wake up, change, and drink a green smoothie.

then push myself as far as i can to get the most benefits from my workout.

every day i will eat the same things at the same time:

around 8am - have 2 slices of toast w/ almond butter

between 9 and 10am - protein shake + added goodness

noonish - quinoa and black bean salad w/ organic tortilla chips

dinner about 5 - salmon burger w/ chipotle crema

veggie + onion & garlic

small red yam

+ a mug of hot green tea w/ stevia for every meal

(look for the recipes coming soon)

bedtime will between 9 and 10

(preferably 9)

sleep and repeat.

and if all else fails i will be posting this image on my fridge,

in my car, by my bed and on my bathroom mirror.

(found this image on pinterest but there was no link so not sure where it originated)

i'll be keeping you posted...
